I've had to re-register my acccount as it said it lapsed in 1970 (The year I was born), luckilly all my existing stuff was still here.

Did anyone else have this issue, and/or does anyone know what happened?

I did and I have to log in every time i visit.

I re-registered but I don't have to keep logging in. Didn't look into the reasons why though.

Just to clear this up. There were some problems with people who had previously signed up to the site on the 'free' subscription who couldn't then upgrade to the 'gold' subscription in order to view the digital issues.

The only way around this was to 'expire' memberships to the site (hence the 1970 date, sorry Alcatraz it wasn't personalised to your birth year specifically ) so the next time you logged in you were prompted to choose again. Just to clarify this did not affect anyones user profiles so nothing has been lost.

At the moment you will be asked every calendar month to choose which subscription you would like. I am looking into other ways around this at the moment.

On your point Steve, if you check the remember me next time you log in it should remember you every time as it did previously. If this is not the case let me know and I will look into it.

Sorry for the confusion caused. I really should have posted something about this when it happened.

I check the box - and the browser should also remember, but I still have to log in every time - it's no big deal. Is the site done in joomla?

I've just had to go through the same polava again this month.

I have changed the free subscription to last for five years (which is the maximum it can do) so it will ask you once more in January but then it won't again for five years!

Digital issues are available at the same time as an issue is in the shops. For example the June issue is on sale 13th May so the digital June issue will also be available on or just before this date.
