So Bob did an article on back kicks in last month's issue, a technique he is always very vocal about in person. This is a technique that really can put an opponent to bed and is not to be underestimated as Bob proved at his recent performance in Huddersfield.
I was one of the cheering ringside supporters who was curious to see if the old school warrior still had it in him to step up to the fight and fight he did.
After a blistering first round of a scheduled 7, there was no doubt both fighters came for a war. I was delighted to see what ultimately concluded the fight - as if just to prove a point, Bob put his opponent on the end of a spin back kick that put his worthy opponent out of action. Still got it? You better believe it!
Well done to both of these guys to get in the ring and to everyone else that had the heart to get up and fight in front of the eager crowd that night.
